REMOTE TRAINING

Where distance or time can be an issue, remote/virtual training has risen in demand over recent years - accelerated by COVID-19. In these sessions, Justin uses commonly accessible digital communication tools like FaceTime, Zoom or Skype to create and share a personal training programme unique to you.

Using recorded footage and data analytics, Justin is able to design a more accurate and personalised training programme across different training phases, such as running or sprint analysis, strength training, power development, technique and form assessment in the gym. Drawing on data from wearables, smartphones and apps, the data available to inform virtual coaching is growing all the time - Justin can utilise this data where possible to improve your programme and increase the effectiveness of your training sessions.

Justin provides a full remote/virtual coaching service, including:

  • Full programme design specific to your individual event, distance or goal

  • Regular remote meetings via FaceTime or Skype

  • iCloud storage for all programming, documents, results and data analytics that you have full access to

  • Wearable data-based programme reviews and updates

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Before embarking on a remote/virtual training programme, it’s important to understand if this service is right for you, and it is critical that you have access to the following:

  1. Make sure you have a training venue location in mind, whether that be at home, in a gym, in a park or on the track.

  2. Ensure you have a device that captures your training data, and a device that can film your training - a modern mobile device can do all of this.

  3. Where possible, you have a wearable device, like Apple Watch, Whoop, FitBit, a heart rate monitor, and mobile-based fitness apps, like Garmin, Strava, Pear, Nike etc.
